Helping Hands Nomination

Nomination Guidelines

Each month, MillTown will select 3 – 4 nominees from all submissions received. Voting takes place throughout the month, and the nominee with the most votes will receive $1,000 donation to his or her organization or charity.
When thinking about nominations, we encourage you to consider the following factors:
Demonstrated Need
Number of People Served
Community Impact of the Organization

MillTown Helping Hands is a community give-back program. Our goal is to find well-deserving local charities that could use a little help. **NOMINATIONS FOR NEW CHARITIES ONLY!**


Although priority consideration is given to registered 501(c)3 organizations, MillTown reserves the right to include other charitable endeavors in its Helping Hands Program including compelling local GoFundMe campaigns, school fundraising activities and other worthwhile efforts. However, priority consideration will be based on 501(c)3 status.

Wilderness Heals: A three-day pledge hike that builds and engages a community of supporters to raise money for the Elizabeth Stone House families and individuals. The Stone House helps homeless and at-risk survivors of domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental illness achieve greater safety and stability.  

Lowell Humane Society: Founded in 1873 with the mission of preventing cruelty, the Lowell Humane Society is one of the oldest humane organizations in the state of Massachusetts. The Lowell Humane Society works tirelessly to prevent cruelty, provide care for homeless and distressed animals and educate the public about responsible ownership. The Society is a private not for profit organization and does not receive any city, state or federal funding. Operations are supported through the generous support of individuals, businesses, and foundations. 

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: Greystar proudly supports raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and is hosting a fundraising event August 6th in efforts to raise significant funds for this charity. Your charitable contribution towards this event will aid in our efforts of ending childhood cancer!
