Each month, MillTown will select 3 – 4 nominees from all submissions received. Voting takes place throughout the month, and the nominee with the most votes will receive $1,000 donation to his or her organization or charity.
When thinking about nominations, we encourage you to consider the following factors:
Demonstrated Need
Number of People Served
Community Impact of the Organization

Meet July's Nominees


Merrimack Valley Food Bank:

The mission of the Merrimack Valley Food Bank is to help meet a person's most profound need for adequate nutrition and freedom from hunger. MVFB strives to deliver emergency food relief during challenging times. Through its partnerships and collaboration with poverty and anti-hunger non-profit organizations, MVFB addresses issues related to the root cause of hunger, encourage the community to participate, and work to bring about economic change by providing the low-income individuals and families with resources to improve their economic situation.

 


Megan's House

A Residential Treatment Center for Women Ages 18-26. The mission at Megan’s House is to improve the quality of life of its residents through an evidence-based substance abuse treatment program that emphasizes individual dignity, self-respect, and empowerment.

In doing so the treatment team utilizes flexibility, support, and outstanding client services to meet individual needs and establish a culture that promotes wellness and success.

 


LIFELINKS

LifeLinks, Inc. is a private, non-profit human service agency headquartered in Chelmsford that provides services and supports for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Its programs are designed to build independence, value individuality and enrich lives. LifeLinks continually refines and expands its services to meet the unique and ever-changing needs of the people it supports. Services include:  residential programs, shared living, day habilitation services community services, family support and a memory café.
