About MillTown Helping Hands

MillTown’s Helping Hands is our way of giving back to the community by supporting deserving local charities. Each month, we review the nominations we receive and select 2-4 charities to participate in our online voting contest. Voting typically runs between 2 and 4 weeks, and the charity with the most votes at the end of the contest wins a $1,000 donation from MillTown.

With so many incredible causes, we need your help to pick a winner! You can vote once per day, so be sure to return daily and encourage others to vote too!

Contact Information

Any local charity, cause, or organization that is located in our Service Area and aligns with our mission to give back to the community is eligible to participate. While we generally focus on 501(c)(3) organizations, we may allow other types of organizations into the Helping Hands contest from time to time, such as local fundraisers (GoFundMe, Kickstarter, etc.) or temporary cause-related charitable initiatives such as natural disaster support.

We select charities based on their availability. Some charities prefer to participate during or around their fundraising events to drive more awareness about their cause. We also strive to place charities of similar sizes in the contest each month to ensure fairness. However, this is not always possible and is determined based on factors such as the size of the charity, their social media following, and their geographic reach.
