Liz was at our house 30 minutes after our initial call. She pleasantly and efficiently diagnosed the problem we were having with a leak from our bathtub drain system wetting the floor in our basement. She was able to repair the leak so that we could use the tub for now and gave us an estimate of what a more definitive replacement would be. We were very satisfied with the service we received

Our kitchen faucet was leaking and needed to be replaced. In the process, the plumber, David L., also discovered some corroded couplings that we agreed needed to be replaced. I had Patrick dispatched to my home to investigate a leaking pipe for my water heater. He diagnosed the issue right away, pointed out what else could need repair, and gave me the full information about my heater approaching its end of life. He was clear that I COULD just get patchwork service without immediate issue, but that soon I would need it replaced. After I made the decision to have the replacement done, Patrick was very helpful and friendly as we worked through financing options, and then got the installation done in just a few hours. I was very satisfied with the customer service and quality of work Patrick provided, and if he represents the standard for MillTown’s services, I couldn’t recommend them enough!

The pipe that my washer emptied into had been overflowing for a month. The repairman came exactly at 8:30am as promised, checked out and explained the problem and price. Within an hour he had snaked the pipe, double checked that the drain was working and was on his way. He had installed my water heater in the past and did a thorough, excellent job them too.

First and foremost, I called them because my water heater flooded my storage area and they were here in 40 minutes!!!!! And most importantly, every single person that I spoke to, including the installer and the electrician were extremely friendly. It was a pleasure to do business with them. Troy came in and did the inspection on both units and gave us his honest recommendations on what we needed to do to keep our units running efficiently. He explained everything and showed us pictures of all the work once it was completed. He was very personable and professional.

As usual with this company, a polite and well-qualified technician arrived promptly as scheduled, already equipped to move the outlet as described over the phone, and had the new circuit working in a couple of hours. This is not the first time this company has been able to fix a problem two weeks before the competition could even schedule itself to show up. Milltown is a first rate outfit in every respect, and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

It started with a very professional office staff who understood the work I wanted done and a scheduler who booked the job when it was convenient for me and within two days. The assigned team showed up on time, introduced themselves, and surveyed the job to be done. They made some notes and gave me a cost proposal for my approval. They acquired the necessary parts and got to work. They actually incorporated some features I wasn't expecting which would make winterizing the outside faucet much easier with a cutoff valve within easy reach and to do maintenance easier. They explained what they were doing as they worked, showed me the new features, and explained how to avoid frozen pipes in the winter. They carefully checked their work for leaks and cleaned up after themselves. You could say that is the way the job should go, yes, exactly. This wasn't a handy-man job, these guys are professionals.

Guys we worked with- Josh and Josh- were friendly, service was faster than expected and worked easily with my schedule. Communication was great and I'm happy with the result.

I was told that Frank will be coming to my house after 11 AM - and he appeared exactly on time. Had a great experience with Griffin yesterday. For the past several years I tried to find an electrician to fix 2 candelabras on my chandelier. I did not want to buy a new one since I love this one I have. I did some googling & found MillTown Plumbing, Heating & Electrical. I made an appointment & Griffin came. The first thing Griffin did when he entered my home was to place covers over his shoes. He was knowledgeable, diagnosed what was wrong, reviewed it with me & went over pricing. Had a sump pump fail - got same day service from Milltown. Dave and Pedro discovered that the pump was fine, but the float has failed. They fixed the right problem without needing to replace the entire pump! They were very courteous and professional and fixed the problem in less than 2 hours.

We’ve been having an issue with a thermostat and the heating in one of the zones in our home. Service was prompt, professional and comprehensive. All in all, a five star experience and would consider them a real partner!

Replaced hardwired smoke detectors and added a surge protector. Technicians, Griffin and Josh, were very efficient, professional and cordial. I would definitely recommend them to others.

He was able to diagnose the issue and come up with a solution right away for a part that was under warranty, resolving it pretty quickly.

Tim from MillTown cleaned the tankless water heater and put new drainage valves on the water filter system. He was very knowledgeable and patient as he answered the many questions I had concerning maintenance. He even allowed me to video as he demonstrated how to change the water filters. Outstanding

Called Milltown on a Friday afternoon about snaking a drain. They had someone at the house within an hour of the initial call. Super easy - team was professional and work was done cleanly.

I have been using Milltown's services for years now. I have used them in a previous home and in my current one. They are courteous, knowledgeable, and just do a great job every time! Update: still doing a great job! They just replaced all my hard wired smoke dectors so quickly! Thank you for continued great service!

MILLTOWN once again went above and beyond for me. This time I had them come out to do a plumbing review and they provided me with a comprehensive inspection and then a report of items that I should think about having fixed. They did not push any services on me but ensured I knew what was needed. I did have them clear a drain that was over packed with mineral deposits and also fix a drain pipe in my kitchen. The guys did an excellent job with the repairs and clean up all while ensuring I understood what they were doing. I have now had a few experiences with MILLTOWN and they continue to excel. UPDATE: I was blown away by how quickly this was handled. Fred, the owner, called me first thing the very next morning and couldn’t have been nicer super down to earth, easy to talk to, and truly understanding. He immediately sent out his senior plumber to take care of everything I wanted addressed, and the work was outstanding. Between Fred’s personal attention and the excellent quality of the work, this was an all around fantastic experience. I couldn’t be happier with how the tankless hot water system turned out. Highly recommend them, thank you Fred and team. We had our HVAC and tankless unit installed by MillTown in 2020 as part of a hydronic heating system. A month ago, the commercial‑grade tank they installed failed. Rheem covered the tank under warranty, but MillTown charged $5,800 for the replacement — which was essentially a retrofit with minimal changes. After reviewing the work, it was clear the job should have been closer to $3,000 based on industry standards and actual scope. Unfortunately, the workmanship was disappointing. The system was left in a condition that doesn’t reflect professional standards — including a drain valve positioned against another pipe, making it impossible to drain the system properly. I provided photos and a detailed email to MillTown expressing these concerns. Their response was that there “wasn’t much to do,” and they offered only a $500 credit toward a future service. Given the excessive pricing and the quality of work, a credit for a future service wasn’t a reasonable solution, and I declined it. Another concern: their website offers no way to contact the owner or any managers directly. For a company that presents itself as family‑run, that lack of transparency says a lot. Overall, the experience was frustrating — from the high cost to the poor workmanship to the dismissive response. I did not have electricity when we went to bed last night. I called this establishment the next morning. First impression was the receptionist whom made me think I dialed the right number. One phone call and within an hour of that call I had a. Professional representative at the house. Easy to deal with and certainly knowledgeable.Within a short time my electric was in full force. Being part of the service club has also made calling and scheduling visits so stress-free because I’m not worried about paying someone to come out. Every techinician has completed their work with great skill and patience. As someone who had needed things broken down and demonstrated multiple times , they have earned my trust and appreciation by giving clear descriptions of what’s going wrong and how it can be fixed or maintained . I highly recommmend Milltown and will continue using them for any heating or electrical needs.

We had Matt here this morning for a kitchen drain clog. Milltown offered us an appointment within 24 hours of us reaching out - Matt showed up and was personable, knowledgeable and transparent. Fixed the clog relatively quickly and cleaned up very well after he was finished. Would highly recommend, and, even though we hope we don’t have to, would use their service again!

Woke up to a lot of water in the basement ... Which made the tepid show make sooo much more sense. Called at 6:30AM, plumber (Patrick) arrived at 10:30. New tank of cold water by 4:30PM. 😉 Now waiting for the big tank to warm up. Super responsive, friendly people.

Frank just did a fantanstic job replacing our kitchen faucet with all options laid out clearly in advance. He also replaced our rusty shutoff valves/pipes so our condo is now a safer place. We really appreciate the quality and efficiency of his work.

The price for most items were reasonable, the only cost caught us by surprise was faucet replacement - which trippled the number than I thought.

Steve, Tim, and Jason all helped with my bathroom renovation. I couldn’t be happier with it!! They installed my new tub/shower, removed and replaced the vanity and toilet, and capped off a second sink and toilet because the bathroom was previously a jack and Jill. They were friendly, answered all my questions, and kept my home clean.

Tom came out to diagnose why our Generac Stand-by generator would not start. He thoroughly explained the steps he would take, the cost, and what to expect. Before he left, the generator was clean and purring - all while working in a foot or more of snow.

Was very pleased with the service and knowledge and explanation of pricing will use MillTown again for my next project
