Helping Hands Nomination

Meet The Nominations!

Nomination Guidelines

Each month, Milltown will choose an organization of available nominations to be the recipient of a $500-1,000 donation via donation or services.

Recipient organizations are chosen from a variety of factors, however, the final decision is that of Milltown.

Helping Hands Recipient Organizations will be announced after the organizations are contacted privately.

The Joy Crew

Caedmon is a 9 year old who love music, sports, and LEGOS!  He has always had a tender heart toward kids who were sick. He brainstormed about how he could "make their day" and put a smile on their faces. After a few ideas and talking to a nurse from Boston Children's Hospital he decided upon donating lego sets!
Did you know that Legos are the most requested gift for children in hospitals? They are "timeless" toys that help pass the time between appointments and overnight stays. Many children spend extended periods of time at BCH for treatments and a surprise toy will make their day! All funds collected will go directly to purchasing lego sets & mini figures for children there.

Household Goods

Household Goods, Inc. provides a full range of donated furniture and household items, free of charge, to help people in need make a home. I volunteers there and they run an amazing and efficient program. Any support Milltown can provide will enable them to put more resources int helping others in need! Check them out at

David Bernard Foundation

The Foundation was established in memory of David Bernard, who lost his life due to injuries sustained on 9/11. As a donor advised charitable fund, we have the opportunity to support small local non profit organizations focused on children and family. We often try to focus on the smaller organizations, that is often overlooked and that our donation will make more of an impact.

Pan Mass Challenge

"This year I will be riding in the Pan Mass Challenge.  This will be my first year, as I join a seasoned team of individuals from the local area, including Westford, Dracut, Lowell, and Chelmsford. Last year this team rode 84 miles (in one day) from Bourne, MA to Wellesley, MA and raised over $10K for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. In speaking with my seasoned teammates, they enjoyed every minute of working so very hard for such a worthy cause.  I’m thrilled to be part of the team this year, we’re training hard and excited to ride! Our fundraising goal is to raise $20K for cancer care and research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. We know it is an ambitious number, but it needs to be! Too many family members and friends have suffered at the hands of cancer.

Corporate sponsorship is an important part of our fundraising program. Our team rides with shirts that proudly display logos from our sponsors. With a new team and a new ride, we need new shirts. We are hoping you will consider sponsoring us?  This year over 6500 riders and 4000 volunteers will join in the fight against cancer, along with boundless spectators and supporters. We’d love to proudly display MillTown Plumbing, on our shirts. There are various levels of tax-deductible sponsorship available. With a $500 donation, you could be a Premiere Gold-level sponsorship. We also offer $300 Silver and $150 Bronze level sponsorship opportunities." -"-Cheryl Reault
